Closed – Juneteenth
The Keyser Public Library will be closed today, June 19th in celebration of Juneteenth. We will reopen at 9am Tuesday morning.
Keyser Juneteenth Celebration
The Keyser Library has been invited to set up our collection of Juneteenth Books at The Keyser Juneteenth Fest 2023 happening this Saturday, June 17th from noon-2pm at Brooks Park. Look for our director and say hello!
Staff Meeting – Open @ 11am
The Keyser-Mineral County Public Library will be closed from 9am-11am on Wednesday, June 7th, for our monthly staff meeting. Thank you.
Summer Reading Sign-Ups
Sign-ups for the 2023 Summer Reading Program begin on June 5th. This year’s theme is “All Together Now” and is all about community and togetherness. Stop in at the library and ask for your Summer Reading packet today!
Strawberry Festival
The Keyser-Mineral County Public Library will be participating in this year’s Strawberry Festival on June 3rd. We will have a book sale set up outside the library, though we might have some more books set up inside. We will be closing early on June 2nd at 2pm to prepare for the book sale. We will also have some small goodie bags (while supplies last) for kids. Thank you, and we hope to see you there!
Closed – Memorial Day
The Keyser Public Library will be closed on Monday, May 29th for Memorial Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, May 30th at 9am.

May Mystery
Hey, Kids!!! HELP!!!!! The Keyser Library needs help solving a mystery! Our absent-minded librarian has misplaced some very important items, and we cannot find them. Luckily, she left some clues behind. Come to our library on Saturday, May 20th at 2 o’clock and, after you pass our rigorous yet incredibly fun secret detective training, you will receive your case file! Help us solve this mystery!
Mommy & Me Tea
Keyser area Moms, the Keyser Library wants to invite you to a Mommy and Me Mother’s Day Tea to celebrate you! Join us Saturday, May 6th at 2pm at the Trinity Lutheran Church Parish House for refreshments, games, prizes and a mommy and me craft.
