The Keyser-Mineral County Public Library will be closing early at 1pm on December 13th for our annual Staff Christmas Party. We’re sorry for any inconvenience, but we’ll open at our regular time of 9am the following day. Thank you!
December is Fine Free! Do you have books or DVDs that haven’t been returned for days, weeks, months maybe even years!?! Bring them back in December, and we won’t charge the fines! This is applies to Burlington and Fort Ashby libraries as well!
Toddler Reading Times will be held on Fridays at 11am here at the Keyser Library. Come enjoy some turkey related stories and crafts! For ages 5 and below. Join us in the children’s section of the Keyser Library!

The Keyser Public Library will be closed on Thursday the 23rd and Friday the 24th for the Thanksgiving holiday. We will reopen on Monday the 27th at 9am.
West Virginia Family Read Week, set for November 12th – 19th, 2023, is the perfect time for families to visit their local library and read a book together. Starting on Monday, November 13th the Keyser Library will have a free book with activities available, while supplies last. We will also be posting links to some of our favorite characters websites where you can access lots of fun activities. Stop by, pick up a book and read together!
The Keyser Library will be closed on Friday November 10th in observance of Veterans Day.
The Keyser Library Online Book Club is reading The Last Ballad by Wiley Cash in November. Interested in joining? Follow the link in the comments. We discuss the book in a zoom meeting or if you prefer, you can join us in person. Or if you don’t like the commitment of a set meeting time, you can discuss the book with us in the Facebook group. We have copies of the book at the library or on the Libby app.
