Staff Meeting
The Keyser-Mineral County Public Library will be closed from 9am-10am on Wednesday, December 7th for our monthly staff meeting.
Secret Santa Book Sale – Friends of the Keyser Library
The Friends of the Keyser Library will be setting up during the Christmas Parade on December 2nd and selling “Secret Santa” books and cocoa. If you’d like to help during the parade, please join us at the library by 6:30 at the latest. The library will be open for the event, but regular services will be unavailable. Thank you!
Wrap n’ Yap – Friends of the Keyser Library
Monday, November 28, 2022 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 pm The Mary F. Shipper Library is partnering with the Friends of the Keyser-Mineral County Public Library to support our local libraries. We are hosting a social evening for students and employees to gather, sip hot chocolate or cider, and chit chat while helping a good local cause. Holiday Closings
The Keyser-Mineral County Public Library will be closing early on Wednesday, November 23rd at 5pm. We will also be closed for Thanksgiving and Black Friday. We will be open at our regular time on November 28th at 9am. Have a safe and happy holiday!
Special Bingo
The Keyser Volunteer Fire Department and the Keyser-Mineral County Library Association are teaming up! There will be a Bingo event on December 3rd; doors open at 3pm and games begin at 5pm. Tickets are available at all three libraries and at the door. Come support your local libraries and firefighters!
Closing Early
The Keyser-Mineral County Public Library will be closing early at 4:30pm on November 18th, 2022. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Closing at Noon
In keeping with our Inclement Weather Policy to follow the lead of the Mineral County School System, the Keyser-Mineral County Public Library will be closing at 12 noon today. We hope to open at our regular time tomorrow.
Fall Into Reading This Autumn – Library Newsletter (Volume 2, Issue 1)
September 2022 The first issue of our new fiscal year and the libraries are really geared up with some great programming for the kids. We will be closed on Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving, and Black Friday.
Looking Forward – Library Newsletter (Volume 1, Issue 1)
June 2022 When we started our newsletter back in September of 2020, it was in the hopes that we’d be getting back to normal. Or as normal as possible after a global pandemic. The newsletter fell to the wayside among restrictions and ever-changing protocols and procedures. We’re happy to announce that it has been revitalized, now as a quarterly newsletter.
