Our Summer Reading Program this year is “Adventure Begins At Your Library”! The Kickoff Party for this program will be June 20th from 10am to 12pm at the West End Park in Keyser, WV. Food and fun will be provided. We will also be handing out program packets. Sign-ups run until June 28th, and all ages are welcome this year!
We are partnering with the North Branch Brewing Co. Cover fee is $5 and all proceeds will be donated to the library. Light refreshments will provided, with additional drinks and food for purchase at the bar. Bring a book you love, gently used or new – wrapped. Grab a drink and mingle! Then, we’ll open and swap books white elephant style! June 15th from 6-8 pm at the North Branch Brewing Co.
Our book sale will be set up on Saturday, June 1st, just outside the library during the Strawberry Festival from 10am to 4pm.
June 1st is the Global Day of Parents! Come to the library on May 31st for small activities, a photo op, and some freebies. Help us celebrate those parents and guardians who commit to their families every day. This event will be held during our open hours, 9am-6pm. Stop by when you can!
Do you write poetry or are interested in poetry? Or just like to listen? April is National Poetry Month, and the Keyser Library will be holding a Poetry Reading on April 19th at 6pm. Bring your own poetry or just poetry that you like to read. This event is open to both children and adults. The Keyser Library is refreshed from our January break, and we are ready to get our Adult Programing started! This February 9th join us for a fun Galentine’s Day Party! We will have games, crafts and refreshments, all for free. Bring a friend or come alone and meet new people. Space is limited to 10 people so call 304-788-3222 to reserve your spot.

So, we collected some thrifted paintings, and we are inviting you to join us.
Join the Mineral County Library Association and the Keyser Volunteer Fire Department for a special Bingo! All proceeds will go to the benefit of both the library and the fire department.
